What is the location?
Last evening, several of our members that are part of the Washington County Technical High School Fire & Rescue Academy, attended the 33rd Annual National Fire & Emergency Service Dinner, sponsored by CFSI. Two of our members, Emily Kopp and Bradley Moschel, were part of the 4 person color guard selected to present colors for this prestigious event. This event had roughly 1500 people in attendance and included top Fire & Emergency and Congressional leaders from across the Country.
The Washington County Technical Highe School Fire & Rescue Academy Cadets assisted throughout the days events and represented Washington County, Maryland proudly in a positive light and exemplified the very best of an outstanding program!

You need to invest in your future to make any organization stronger. Tonight we recognized our graduating seniors from the Washington County Technical High School Fire Rescue Academy. Besides managing their regular academic classes, sports and/or part time jobs, these members participated in 2 years worth of MFRI classes, which are college level Fire/Rescue classes sponsored by the University of Maryland. When they are not tackling one of those tasks, they are often found volunteering for their fire company.
Tonight we recognized them with a meal and couple gifts. Each Senior was given a personal rechargeable Streamlight hand light for their turnout gear and a personal Wedgin’ Truckman’s tool, a forcible entry tool with their names stamped on them. A small token of our appreciation for their hard work and dedication to their education and to Company 12.
